In addition to its event scheduling activities, Teatro Pubblico Pugliese has an important strategy of audience development and education, which is reflected in a number of projects, as well as in its marketing choices and communication processes. The aim is to reach an audience that grows not only in numbers but also in terms of awareness and quality: a catchment basin that spreads beyond economic, social, psychological and physical barriers.
Season after season, the offer of side events is enriched with theatre workshops in peripheral areas, viewing guides, training in schools, targeted courses in universities, meetings with actors and directors, thematic conferences, discounts on tickets and special agreements.
As part of TPP audience development efforts, in 2015 the project #Storytellme - Stories from the theatres of Puglia- was launched to spread information of and recount all the seasons of the Circuit. Aimed at young theatre and social network enthusiasts who want to share the emotions of an evening at the theatre, every year #Storytellme involves over 30 theatre-goers, turning them into special correspondents inside the theatres of the circuit. Emotions, stories and storytelling for audience engagement strategies.
